Dr. Maher graduated from the Damascus University in 2001 and passed the Syrian board in 2006 as OMFS Specialist in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He also took the Diploma in Surgical Laser in Damascus University in 2007. He was the Head of Maxillofacial Department in Mamdoh Abaza Hospital, a governmental institution in Syria from 2007 to 2013 and served as Scientific Manager in Syrian Dental Association Quainter Branch from 2010 to 2013. His interest was not only limited to the field of dentistry, hence took up Master in Administration and Strategies in Hospital Management in Damascus University in 2011.

Dr. Maher took up Msc Master in Laser Dentistry in Damascus University in 2014 and went to IMC Munster Germany in 2016 for Msc Master in Implantology and Dental Surgery. He completed his diploma in Dento-facial Cosmetic in 2016 from British Academy (BAIRD). Aside from being a full-time Dental Surgeon in Bissan Dental Center, he’s preparing for PHD in Orthognathic Surgery and Facial deformities in Germany.

He loves spending time with his children. His hobbies are outdoors and travelling. Dr. Maher chose to practice here at Bissan Dental Center because of a shared belief in providing state of the art, relationship-based, comprehensive care that is tailored to fit into the lives and budgets of his patients.
